  Since Chongqing became the central municipality, we have made good advantages of this historic chance, such as the approval of the central municipality by the central government, West Development, Electricity Transported from West to the East, The Construction and Reform of Urban and Rural Electric Grid, boosting the great strides of Chongqing Electric Power. So far, 234 substations in Chongqing have 35,000-volt or above grid, with the capacity of 21,886,000,000-volt and transmission line of 9528.9km. The 500,000-volt key spatial grid stretching from East to the West, is the middle passage of the project "Electricity Transmission from the West to East' and an important hub for the national electric grid.
